- When Sinclair went bankrupt Amstrad bought the firm and produced 3 models of an almost
"ZX-Spectrum (48Kb)" compatible machine, namely the ZX-Spectrum +2,+2a,+3. The
new models didn't have the basic commands printed on the keys anymore (with the exception
of LOAD, SAVE and RUN), this made it quit difficult to use it in the old compatible
mode. For the new version of the basic interpreter, you had to type in all the characters
yourself.
