- Prepare a bootable floppy disk with the necessary files on it, such as:
- FDISK.EXE
- FORMAT.COM
- SYS.COM
- E-IDE CD-ROM DRIVER
- SCSI CD-ROM DRIVER + ASPI-LAYER (for Adaptec based controllers)
- MSCDEX.EXE
- MOUSE DRIVER
- HIMEM.SYS
- EMM386.EXE
- CONFIG.SYS
- AUTOEXEC.BAT
Hint: It may be usefull to create a multi-boot config. Leads to create
such a config can be found in the help file which comes with MS-DOS 6.xx and the
MS-DOS manual.
- Make an Image from this diskette.
If you have created a multi-boot config, make sure you test this before
making the Image file.
For instance, I'll show you how one of the program works. I've used the
Windows based program called DSKIMG95.EXE from Mike
Looijmans.:

Step 2. Click on the Disk to File button and choose
the Device to read from and specify the name / location of the image file.

Step 3. Click on the Read button and watch the
status.

- Create an ISO file
- Burn the ISO file to an empty CDR media
- After burning, test the written CD
- Add other data to the disk by multi-session
- Test again and you're ready
