Great page on the world's greates band! But why, when I read most things about the Floyd, does everyone have it in for Roger Waters? There would be no Pink Floyd now if it weren't for Roger. Who do you think wrote 90% of their music in the seventies? And did Paul McCartney ever write a song and say "Hey John, you can sing this"? Yet Waters let both Rick Wright and Dave Gilmour sing his compositions. I agree that Final Cut should have been a solo album. But to glorify Syd Barrett and lambast Roger Waters is the high point of hypocrisy. So, if your favourite Floyd album is anything apart from Piper, rest assured it never would have seen light of day if it weren't for Roger Waters.

I was fortunate enough to be the film editor on the "Momentry Lapse Of Reason Tour" in 88/89. I cut the round rear screen films projected during the show. That was a trip I will never forget. I am including a Pink Floyd song on my Millenium timecapsule CD. Hopefully someone will find it 1000 years from now and enjoy it as much I have.

Pink Floyd has been, and always will be my favorite rock band. Every Floyd song moves me like no other band can. I saw them in '94 @ Death Valley Stadium in Clemson, S.C. I decided that there will never be another concert comparable to that one. I was hooked for life! I liked them before that show, but now it's an obsession!
