Dark Side of the Moon [Twentieth Anniversary Limited
Edition]
Date of Release Mar 23, 1993
The music is familiar -- the real attraction of the limited-edition twentieth anniversary edition of Pink Floyd's landmark 1973 album is the packaging. This release uses the same remastered tapes as the Shine On box set, tapes that sound better than most previous editions (even rivaling Mobile Fidelity's Ultradisc). In addition to the improved sound, the disc is cased in a handsome box that includes several postcards that were issued with the original album.
