Is There Anybody Out There?

EMI Records has been forced to delay the release of PINK FLOYD's Is There Anybody Out There? until Feb. 7, 2000 due to production problems. The double disc, which marks the twentieth anniversary of the band's first live performances of The Wall, was originally scheduled for release in December, but plans went awry when producer James Guthrie realized the restoration process used on the two-decade old tapes was more complicated than he had first thought. The Wall live shows were originally recorded and filmed for use in the band's 1982 movie about a rock star's mental breakdown, but the footage and recordings were never used and had never been treated or mixed until now. |
