Mason's Porsche 962 featured at motor show

The International Classic Motor Show in Birmingham England recently featured a Porsche 962 owned by Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. The car was the centerpiece of 15 vehicles on display for the celebration of Porsche's 50th anniversary.

"Nick was a patron of the [Porsche Club of Great Britain] and that's how he acquired the car in the first place," said spokesman Steve Kevlin. "We were looking for a 962 and we knew Nick happened to have one. He's got quite a collection of cars--both vintage and race cars."
