March 27, 1999 WATERS LYRICS FETCH HIGH AUCTION PRICE A hand-written copy of Roger Waters' lyrics to "Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2" along with a piece of the Berlin Wall sold for £6,000 at the Hits Under the Hammer auction at London's Sound Republic club on Monday, 22 March. The auction also sold unpublished lyrics by Jimi Hendrix, A door with the lyrics to Madness' "Our House," original annotated lyrics to George Michael's "Faith", Madonna's lyrics to "Little Star", Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy" written on a pink shirt, and The Prodigy's "Firestarter" written on an electric heater. The auction for charity benefits Norwood Ravenswood which aids disadvantaged children, and Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy for children and adults.
