GILMOUR JOINS McCARTNEY IN STUDIO FOR OLDIES COVERS

Paul McCartney and David Gilmour have been recording together in London's Abbey Road Studios. Joined by Mick Green of Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, the group recorded a spontaneous session at the urging of Gilmour.

The casual group recorded unrehearsed jams of a number of covers of classic rock songs from the 1950s and 1960s, including Little Richard's 1957 hit "Lucille."

Backstage at the recent Hall of Fame induction ceremony, McCartney commented that the tracks would probably released "sometime."
