Colombia records celebrates 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd with historic catalog reissue project

Remastered/Repackaged Pink Floyd Classics out December 16th

It's been 30 years since Pink Floyd first expanded the consciousness of its audience and began restructuring the boundaries of popular music. In celebration of this historic anniversary, Columbia Records will reissue six of the mythic British band's classic albums, each digitally remastered in deluxe new CD packaging.

Recordings in the Pink Floyd 30th Anniversary Reissue Series include: Wish You Were Here (originally released in 1975; 6x platinum); Animals (1977; 4x platinum); The Wall (1979; 22x platinum); A Collection Of Great Dance Songs (1981's "greatest hits" compilation; platinum); The Final Cut (1983; 2x platinum); and A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987; 3x platinum).

Each Pink Floyd CD reissue will come packaged with all the original LP artwork intact.

As an added bonus, many of the anniversary edition packages will contain new photos and artwork.

Under the direct personal supervision of the band, each CD in the series has been digitally remastered to create a breathtakingly pristine sonic quality.

For neophyte fans and long-term Pink Floyd fans alike, the Pink Floyd 30th Anniversary Reissue Series is cause for major celebration.
