November 17, 1998 FLOYD BIOGRAPHY DISK TO BE RELEASED A biographical CD about Pink Floyd including interview material is scheduled for release on 1 January 2000. "STAR PROFILE: PINK FLOYD" will be part of a series of interview CDs from Mastertone. The audio CD lists at $12.97 US and holds ASIN# B00000DH1H. The CDs will not include music, and will probably not include any new interview material either. "Star Profile: Pink Floyd" should not be mistaken for a new Pink Floyd album. According to Gilmour and Mason, Pink Floyd is not currently active and at this time has no plans for a new album or tour. Mastertone's "Star Profile" audio interview series will profile many bands, including Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Elvis Presley, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Bush, and Offspring.
