Belgium has two Green parties: Agalev for the Flemish speaking Belgians and Ecolo for the French and German speaking community.

Belgium has a complex constitution. There are seven equivalent bodies: the Federation, three regions (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels) and three communities (Flemish, French and German). Each of these bodies has its own constitutional competences and its own representative organs. These organs are elected by proportional elections each four years. There is no treshold.
