Flowers of 16th-century Italian Dance Music

The CD has been recorded by Dutch top early musicians of the Lacrimae Ensemble: Mimi Mitchell (violin), Ronald Moelker (recorders), Fred Jacobs (chitarrone), Wilma van der Wardt (viola da gamba), joined by Marianne Hund (mezzosoprano), Simen Van Mechelen (renaissance trombone), Fritz Heller (cornetto), produced in close cooperation with early dance specialist Dorothée Wortelboer and musicologist Dirkjan Horringa. This is an exciting and excellently dance-able recording of a beautiful selection of Caroso, Negri and (some) Arbeau dances.

The CD (as well as the dance manual) can be ordered from Dorothée Wortelboer. Please read the instructions in Prices and how to order. Payment is possible through VISA card (other credit cards can't be accepted).
