Daed branches and umbel-rays more or less persistent but not pungent(= ending in a stiff, sharp point) Leaves 5-15(-20) mm, lanceolate or linear -lanceolate, entire. Ray-leaves obovate, about as long as rays, yellowish. Rays 1-5, very short, each usually with one cyathium. Capsule 3-4 mm, weakly sulcata, usually with long (rarely short) tubercels. Seeds 2-3 mm, smooth, brown.

Habitat: Dry, rocky places.
